Volunteer Safety Orientation
Welcome to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center! We commend you on the inititiative to volunteer your time and efforts to the institution.
Program Overview
This program includes basic training in the areas of safety awareness, emergency procedures, infectious disease control, personal protective clothing and equipment, electrical safety, ergonomics, workplace violence, and hazard communication.
The complete online course has 5 areas:
- Accident Prevention
- Emergency Procedures
- Texas Hazard Communication Act
- Infectious Diseases Exposure Policy
- Safety Programs
You will need your Volunteer ID number to access the training. If you do not have this number, please contact Volunteer Services at 743-2959.
