-Fellow, United States Bone and Joint Decade Young Clinical Investigator Workshop Program on
the Design and Conduct of Randomized Clinical Trials in Bone and Joint Diseases (2006-
2010).

Biography:

Shen is a tenured associate professor in the School of Medicine Department of Pathology in Lubbock.

Before joining TTUHSC, Shen served as an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Food & Nutrition at Providence University in Taiwan. She is widely published in national health journals, and is a member of several professional societies including the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Diabetes Association, American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, and the American Society for Nutrition.

Shen is also heavily involved with the Southwest Cancer Treatment and Research Center and serves on the TTUHSC School of Medicine Admissions Committee, and the Department of Pathology's Residency Search and Review Committee, and the Faculty Search Committee.
