Biography:

Schrimsher is an assistant professor and the Giles C. McCrary Endowed Chair in Addiction Medicine with the Department of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at TTUHSC.

Prior to joining TTUHSC in 2006, Schrimsher served as an instructor/postdoctoral fellow at the University of Mississippi Medical Center/Jackson VA Medical Center, and then as a staff psychologist at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.

Schrimsher is a member of the Society for Neuroscience, the American Psychological Association, the International Neuropsychological Society, the International Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism, the Research Society on Alcoholism, the editorial board of the Journal of Psychopathology and Behavioral Assessment, and the Institutional Review Board for TTUHSC.
