IT Security Awareness Training
Security is a shared responsibility. Understanding what we can do to keep the TTUHSC IT infrastructure safe from potential hazards is critical to securing the electronic information in our facilities.
The Texas Administrative Codes 202.77, HIPAA Security Rule, and several other Federal and State regulations mandate security awareness training for all current and new personnel.
This training is available online and as a classroom training course.
To access the online training course, you will need the following:
- eRaider ID
- Pentium III, 800MHz PC with video and sound cards
- PC Speakers
- Latest version of Microsoft Windows Media Player
- Printer (to print out your completion certificate afterwards)
If your system does not meet these requirements or if you require technical assistance, please contact your campus Help Desk for assistance.
