It seems almost daily that another infectious disease is being announced from the Bird Flu to AIDS. Infectious Disease division works to diagnose and treat a vast array of disease that are caused from a wide variety of germs from bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, rickettsia, and tuberculosis.
The Infectious Disease Clinician sees patients with illnesses caused by germs. These illnesses include fevers, AIDS, tropical diseases and chronic infectious of the bone. We give vaccinations for foreign travel and reactive adult infectious.
