Education & Training
Mission
Safety training plays an important role in ensuring that all faculty, staff, students, volunteers, and visitors meet the necessary training requirements. This is a cooperative effort. Employees are responsible for performing their work in a safe and responsible manner. Knowledge of appropriate safe work procedures and safety rules is essential. Employees are expected to obey established safety rules and to maintain hazard-free work areas by correcting unsafe conditions or reporting them to their Unit Safety Officer (USO) and/or supervisor.
