Nick is a Registered Biosafety Professional through the American Biological Safety Association. He received his Bachelor's of Science with a major in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry from Texas Tech University. He completed an apprenticeship at Utah State Technical Institute in the Operating Engineer's program. Nick currently serves on the TTUHSC Infection Control Committe, University Medical Center (UMC) Environment of Care Committee, and is an active member of the American Biological Safety Association. He previously served on the Texas Attorney General's Office Health and Safety Task Force, National Fire Protection Association, and American Biological Safety Association Education and Training Committee. Nick has been with TTUHSC since 1978 and has established multiple programs.
