James A. Chappell, M. D. Endowed Scholarship
Dr. Chappell was Associate Academic Dean and Professor of Pediatrics from 1984 until his retirement in 1996. He was a dedicated teacher and friend to all who knew him.
Therefore, it seemed appropriate that we establish the James A. Chappell, M.D. Endowed Scholarship Fund as a lasting tribute for the many lives that Dr. Chappell touched. We hope that you might consider making a contribution to honor his memory.
Clinical Tower
To meet the needs of the rural Panhandle - West Texas area, and to provide quality patient care more effectively and efficiently, TTUHSC is adding a new Clinical Tower. It is being built in front of the northeast corner of the current building complex of TTUHSC adding a 152,000-square-feet area. Clinical practices of family and internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, surgery and ophthalmology will be located in this area. The new space will allow for more treatment areas, expansion of services and will allow for growth in staffing of physicians and clinicians to service the West Texas area.
Naming opportunities for specific rooms and/or areas and support for equipment and furnishings are excellent ways to support your School of Medicine. If you are would like more details, please contact Leigh McPhaul, Director of Development for the School of Medicine at leigh.mcphaul@ttuhsc.edu or 806.743.2763.

Donations and/or identification of potential donors are needed to start an endowment to make the Center a permanent reality.
The above programs rely on funding support from alumni and faculty in order to continue their growth. If you would like more information on these programs, please contact GivingInfo@ttuhsc.edu. Using the online donation form you can direct your contribution to the department of your choice.
