Research Studies for Caregivers of Persons with Alzheimer's Disease
Alzheimer's Family Caregiver Survey
The purpose of this study is to determine the training and educational needs of the caregivers of persons with dementia, specifically Alzheimer's in the Texas Panhandle and West Texas. We speculate there is an unmet need for extensive training about Alzheimer's disease and the caregiving role.
If you are a caregiver for a person affected by Alzheimer's disease, please take a few minutes to complete the following survey: Alzheimer's Family Caregiver Survey.
This information will guide the development of training programs to be offered through the community and the TTUHSC Geriatrics Division. If you do not have access to a computer, you may call us at (806)356-4637 and we will mail the survey to you.
The Effect of Medical Students as Stewards on Stress and Depression Level in Alzheimer's Dementia Caregivers
Are you caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease? Are you struggling with the day to day activities of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease?
If you answered” yes” to both or either of these questions, you may be eligible for participation in a research study on caregiver interventions.
For more information on how to participate, please call the Geriatrics Division at the medical school of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo. Our phone number is (806)356-4637.
