Amarillo Chili Cook-Off Rescheduled

The National Community Pharmacists Association has rescheduled its Chili Cook-Off for 12:00-1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in the Amarillo Student Lounge. Contestants will bring chili; NCPA will provide cornbread. Winners in each category receive a $20 gift card and a stylish crown to wear for the rest of the day. The crowd will serve as judges. To enter, email Patrick McGowan and bring 10-plus services of chili in something to keep it warm (like a crock pot). Cost to judge is $5 per all-you-can-eat bowl and cornbread. Drinks are 50 cents, and extra cornbread is 50 cents. Categories are: Best Overall Chili, Hottest Chili, Most Unique Chili and Best Vegetarian Chili.
