All proceeds from the work day will benefit the Stroke/Aphasia Recovery (STAR) Program at the TTUHSC School of Allied Health Sciences’ Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic. Regardless of the ability to pay for therapy, all patients who experience aphasia (loss of speech as a result of a stroke) are accepted in the program and participate in weekly therapy sessions.
To place a work request, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name, address, telephone number, # of students requested, type of work, and time requested (am or pm and # of hours). Requests will be accepted until Oct. 15th or until all student workers are booked, whichever comes first.
