Born in the heat of Nigerian civil war and raised during the extravagant era of the oil boom that followed, Adewale Adenle, a visiting-assistant professor in painting and drawing at Texas Tech University, witnessed the turmoil spurred by vast resources and corruption. In this lecture, Adewale unmasks salient issues in socio-political developments from his traditional African background and connects them to the socio-political occurrences in his adoptive country, the U.S. Don't miss!
