OVERVIEW
The Lubbock Billing Compliance Office serves twelve separate departments: Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neuropsychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pathology, Pediatrics, Surgery and Urology; and has approximately 200 billing Providers and 200 Residents.

| Mathew Spencer is the Director of the Lubbock Billing Compliance Office. He has a Bachelors of Business Administration specializing in Management, a Masters of Business Administration specializing in Management, and a Graduate Certification in Health Organization Management. He is licensed as a Certified Professional Coder, Certified in Healthcare Compliance, and Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. Matt has over 6 years experience in health care and has been with Billing Compliance for nearly 5 years. | Gracie Cowan is a Senior Analyst in the Lubbock Billing Compliance Office. She is licensed as a Certified Professional Coder and is a member of the AAPC. Gracie has over 16 years experience in healthcare, including coding and reimbursement, extensive customer service experience, patient education, patient accounts management, medical records management, managed care management and radiology billing. In addition, she is proficient in patient financial assistance programs, as well as government and third party payers. Gracie moved to Billing Compliance in October. |
