About: RSVP – primary contact for 600+ volunteers and 40+ non-profits in Lubbock County. Maintain records for volunteers and stations for reporting federal and state grant applications and information to Corporation for National & Community Service and Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Coordinate three annual events – Spring Forum, Movie Night, and Annual Recognition Banquet. Submit articles for monthly Golden Gazette newsletter. Economic impact of volunteers is 2.4m annually for 2012 and 2013.

Assist with activities for GIA. Maintain contact with Lubbock County Senior Centers, social and civic groups, retirement centers, City and County health departments, retail centers, non-profits, for profits agencies, Emergency Preparedness representative for City of Lubbock, health care professional organizations, and others as needed. Booth setup and attendance at community Health Fairs, seminars, and health care events. Attend seminars and lectures throughout county for information for GIA and RSVP.

Other activities – participating in group sports (soccer, softball, flag football) and watching college and professional group sports and travel.
