Our Mission
The mission of the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs is to increase and broaden the diversity of students, faculty and the staff of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center by promoting an institutional climate that equally welcomes, values, nurtures and respects the culture and contributions of all members of our pluralistic society.
Our Vision
The Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs will become a recognized asset to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for its valuable support to all the schools in their efforts to build a richly diverse institution.
Our Goals
- To serve as a resource to all TTUHSC students relating to diversity.
- Promote diversity and multiculturalism within the TTUHSC family and community.
- Serve as a resource to all underrepresented and disadvantaged minority students.
- Recognize and celebrate cultural months throughout the year.
