Lecture Series

The ODMA lecture series is to provide national/local speakers – known experts in the health science education and diversity to increase awareness and nurture cross–cultural understanding by focusing on culture, ethnicity, religion and health beliefs and the significance a diverse cultural background can have on health care services. These lectures will help in achieving a better understanding in meeting the needs of diverse patients and will be held in the Academic Classroom Building and be techlinked to Amarillo, El Paso, and Odessa. All lectures and powerpoint presentations are available for check out (picture ID required)
