Multicultural Club

Multicultural Club will serve as a professional student organization for students at TTUHSC who are interested in health care issues pertaining to minority individuals.

International Medicine Club

The purpose of this club is to promote an interest in medicine from around the world to help understand how cultural issues shape public health, to provide a resource for students wishing to pursue international medical endeavors. We will hold meetings with speakers who have practiced medicine in other areas of the world with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity.

American Medical Women's Association (AMWA)

The objectives of the Association are to bring together women, medical students, and physicians; to promote their education and training; to educate them and the public on health issues of women's to encourage women to study and practice medicine; to ensure them equal opportunity to do so; to cooperate with other organizations having comparable interests and to support medical relief services.

Student National Medical Association(SNMA)

SNMA is the oldest and largest medical organization dedicated to people of color and underserved communities. Community service is the heart and soul of the SNMA. Eliminating disparities in health care delivery, disease morbidity, and disease mortality are among our highest priorities. We are seeking a diverse group of members who are willing and ready to serve the needs of Lubbock's surrounding communities.

American Medical Student Association (AMSA)

AMSA will provide a forum of participation in and input into the national AMSA by students at TTUHSC School of Medicine. To promote the active improvement of health care and health care delivery to all people, especially in the areas served by TTUHSC, to work for the enhancement of the quality of life and education of all TTUHSC SOM students, to involve its members in the social, moral, and ethical obligation of the profession of medicine, to assist in the improvement and understanding of local, national, and world health problems, and to advance the profession of medicine.

Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA)

The purpose of CMDA is to aid Christian physicians, dentists, medical and dental students and others in the medical and dental professions to gain mutual strength, encouragement and blessings to be attained in meeting one another, to present a positive witness of God our Father and our Savior Jesus Christ to the medical and dental professions, and to emphasize the essential duty and privilege of every Christian to take a definite interest and share in world–wide evangelism.

Nursing Christian Fellowship

The purpose of the Nursing Christian Fellowship Organization, in accordance with the Purpose of NCF⁄USA, is to be witnessing community of nursing students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord and grow in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every ethnicity and culture and God's purpose in the world.

National Student Speech–Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA)

This organization will encourage professional interest among college and university students in the study of normal and disordered human communication behavior; to assist college and university department and local organization interested in speech, language, and hearing behavior and disorders; to provide professional information, regarding speech and hearing sciences; and to provide a vehicle for student representation in matters of professional concern.
