Information Technology enables the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Campus community to realize the role of technology in transforming higher education in the 21st Century. Through the use of technological resources, IT supports programs for instruction, research, clinical, student services, and administration. Information Technology maintains an infrastructure and support environment which provides hardware/software support; instructional computing, education media, faculty and staff productivity, clinical and administrative applications; maintain a client/server environment; develop and maintain infrastructure to provide connectivity and access to information; operate centralized help desk for all technology support requests.
Information Technology strives to be providers of excellent service, respected and professional staff who exemplify leadership qualities and a department that understands and assists with achieving the goals and objectives for the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Campus.
