Colorectal Cancer Screening Project
Project Mission
The primary mission of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso Colorectal Cancer Screening Project is to perform high quality epidemiologic, educational and cancer screening research. Additionally, the project provides colorectal cancer screening to citizens of El Paso and operates a unique certification program in flexible sigmoidoscopy for physicians. Outcome measures for the project include the number of procedural mentoring activities performed, the number of publications in the scientific literature and the number of presentations at local, state, national and international meetings.
