Mission Statement
The Diabetes Research Center at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso was formed to prevent diabetes and its complications among the residents of the West Texas-Mexico border through research, treatment, health education, and professional development.
The Diabetes Research Center envisions itself as being the center of excellence in the prevention and control of diabetes in the West Texas-Mexico border.
