The Graduate Medical Education Committee(GMEC) is comprised of the Program Directors, Texas Tech administrative staff, President of the Housestaff, past president of the Housestaff Association, and GME administrative staff. The GMEC is chaired by the Designated Institutional Official(DIO), Dr. Jose L. Gonzalez. The GMEC establishes and implements policies and procedures regarding the quality of education and the work environment for the residents in all the programs.Designated Institutional Official
