Application Requirements for Residency
Thank you for your interest in the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. The program will be participating and accepting applications only through the ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) through December 1st. Early submission is recommended. A complete application includes the following:
- ERAS application
- Medical School Transcript
- USMLE Certified Transcript of Scores
- Dean's Letter
- Three letters of recommendation (If previous residency training, a letter from the program director)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Personal Statement
- Photo
Additional requirements for International graduates:
- Institution sponsors J-1 Visas only
- Copy of current ECFMG Certificate (CS taken or scheduled)
- Medical School Transcripts in the original language and translated
- Medical School Diploma in the original language and translated
- Copy of license to practice medicine in your country and translated
Selection of candidates for interview will be based on multiple factors as determined by the Internal Medicine Selection Committee.
