Welcome to our Texas Tech Internal Medicine El Paso Residency Program Web page.
We hope you will find useful information to help you become informed about our program. The Department of Medicine has been training physicians since 1971. Our affiliation with Thomason General Hospital provides the trainee an environment of a strong clinical experience that includes rare diseases not commonly found in this country in a nurturing academic environment. The border city of El Paso is a pleasant, predominantly Hispanic, busy community that offers all the commodities of a large metropolitan city. We will be very pleased if after the completion of your training you would choose El Paso as your new home. Finally, we hope you consider our program an attractive option for your residency training.
