Case Presentation
You will also be required to present one case presentation to your assigned faculty mentor. This may be an obstetric or a gynecologic case of your choosing. You will need to present a complete history and physical exam and be prepared to discuss the case in detail. You need to review at least one textbook, and two current journal articles on your chosen topic. You should be able to generate a list of differential diagnoses and understand how each one was eliminated and how you came to your final diagnosis. You will be responsible for calling your faculty mentor's secretary and schedule an appointment for your case review. Try to limit your presentation and discussion to 30 minutes. Your case presentation will account for 10% of your grade. If you have any difficulty with scheduling, please contact the clerkship director.
