The Children's Miracle Network "Always Kids Miracle Hotline"
CMN is the dominant North American organization actively providing better health care to kids. Its mission is to generate funds and awareness programs to benefit pediatric hospitals and programs. CMN has pledged to donate 100% of the funds raised in El Paso to the local program, the Always Kids Miracle Hotline.

The hotline was created in 1996 to provide social service referrals and physician coverage in the evenings and weekends. Hotline physicians use established protocols to help parents who call. Characteristics of the hotline include:
- Services provided are free of charge
- All communication between parents and social workers or physicians is confidential
- Hotline assistance is available 24-hours a day
- Social calls are answered by bilingual social workers or social work students
- Medical calls are answered by Texas Tech medical professionals
- Parent/teen conflicts are addressed
- Services are available to every child from birth to the age of 21 years
