Health and Safety Department
All TTUHSC-EP employees and medical students are required to provide proof and meet immunization requirements prior to beginning any activity at Texas Tech-El Paso. TT Employees and Students who will provide direct care to patients at TGH are subject to Texas Tech and TGH Infection Control Policies and shall meet the following Immunization requirements:
TB Skin test | Negative TB skin test or Chest X Ray |
| MMR | Positive titers for Rubella and Rubeola |
| Varicella | Positive Titer for Varicella |
| Hepatitis B | 3 doses or positive titer |
| Td | Booster every 10 years |
Required immunizations will be provided to TT Employees and Medical Students if needed. TT Employees and Medical Students can receive needed immunizations at THOMASON OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH OFFICE.
