Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer at TTUHSC have the opportunity to help in a number of ways. We have both short term and long-term opportunities.
Short Term Opportunities
There are short term opportunities for organizations and groups who want to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families by collecting items and donating them to TTUHSC (i.e. toys, books, magazines, school supplies). Please contact the Volunteer office prior to collecting any items to determine what is needed most. You can also help with special events.
Long Term Opportunities
The following list represents some areas of service. We will make every effort honor your preferences regarding volunteer placements. Volunteer placements are based on clinic/dept. needs, your time and availability and the interviewer's recommendations. We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of 3 months or 100 hours of service.
- Greeting and escorting patients
- Running errands
- Office and clerical support
- Reading to children
- Special events, booths, exhibits
