Evidence Based Medicine Interpreting and Using Diagnostic Tests

  2. Distinguish between the concepts of disease prevalence for a population and the pre-test probability for a particular patient.
  3. Given a 2 X 2 table indicating disease prevalence and the values for true positives, false positives, false negatives and true negatives, calculate the sensitivity and the specificity of the test.
  4.
