Monthly Senate Meetings
The Faculty Senate usually meets on the third Friday of each month from 12:00 to 1:30. This date can be changed if conflicts present. The meetings are open, but the Senate may elect by majority vote to go into executive session. Those faculty on a campus other than Lubbock may attend by a telephone connection provided they notify the Senate Vice President at least one week prior to the meeting or going to one of the assigned Techlinked meeting rooms (click here to see agendas for meeting room locations). An agenda for each meeting is posted on the web site prior to the meeting and minutes are posted after the meeting.
General HSC Faculty Senate Meetings
General HSC Faculty meetings are held two times per year and will be Techlinked to all campuses. The TTUHSC President will be invited to present an address on the state of the institution at the Spring meeting and the President's Faculty Awards will be presented during the Fall meeting. The meeting schedule for the General HSC Fauclty Senate meetings has been standardized. The Fall meeting will be held on the second Wednesday of October each year and the Spring meeting will be held on the second Wednesday of April each year. Meeting times are usually scheduled during the lunch hours (11:00 - 1:30)
