Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso Pediatrics Residency Program prides itself on refining the skills of its residents through dynamic training and a superb curriculum.  The uniquely diverse patient population, the state-of-the-art Medical School and the new UMC Children's Hospital are a few of the assets that support the resident in training.  Each resident is equipped with all tools necessary to excel in their residency training and beyond.

Residents and faculty have the opportunity to practice in a multicultural community, specifically one with a significant Hispanic population.  Our program prides itself on being the only comprehensive Texas-Mexico border training program in the nation.  This permits for a diverse patient population which is accompanied by a wide array of all-encompassing cases that are unique to the physician in training.
