Veronica L. Greer, M.D., FAAEM

Dr. Veronica L. Greer, Assistant Professor, graduated from the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Department of Emergency Medicine residency program in 2004 and continued with the department as a faculty member.

She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Greer has been co-director of the Emergency Ultrasound program since 2006 and Education Chief and Residency Director since 2008.

Dr. Greer has served as Acting Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas and as a Family Medicine Physician in Lakewood Medical Center, Dallas, Texas.  She is course director for the Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, Emergency Department Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) Course and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).  She also serves as Interim Director of Emergency Medicine Simulation Training.

Dr. Greer has a desire to ensure that every student and resident be exposed to the widest range of educational opportunities and challenges during their rotation/residency in Emergency Medicine so they may provide the best care for all patients throughout their professional career.
