![]() | Dustin Corgan, M.D.Email: dustin.corgan@ttuhsc.edu Hometown: Plano, Texas Undergrad: University of North Texas Medical School: Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Lubbock Why residency in El Paso? We treat things here in El Paso that people in other residencies only see on the Discovery Channel. Hobbies/Interests: Photography, Bass guitar, trying to learn piano Random Factoid: Once upon a time I used to bartend and wait tables. I would save up just enough cash for a plane ticket, and when I had enough, I would fly overseas (wherever) and shoot black and white photos of people and places. I hoped that one day I would be an art photographer. Then I had a change of heart and decided to become a doctor when I was meeting people in places torn apart by war and poverty. Plans after residency: Still figuring that out. Short term plans are to pay back loans as quickly as possible. Long term I would like to do something with Doctors Without Borders or Unicef. |
