Residents and faculty have the opportunity to practice in a multicultural community, specifically one with a significant Hispanic population. Our program prides itself on being the only comprehensive Texas-Mexico border training program in the nation. This permits for a diverse patient population which is accompanied by a wide array of all-encompassing cases that are unique to the physician in training.

The purpose of the Annual Obstetrics and Gynecology Symposium is to address the latest information on Ob/Gyn issues affecting the U.S./Mexico border communities, while highlighting new and innovative advances and approaches in healthcare delivery by leaders in the field.
