Irma Montes-Gomez, MSN, RN, ONC, CPHQ |
Irma Montes-Gomez, is a native El Pasoan, who has worked in health care for the last 32 years. She has worked in many of the area hospitals, and has a diverse background of nursing experiences, from General Medical/ Surgical, to Orthopaedic/Neurology and Urology, to Burn Care. She has been a Director of a variety of Nursing Units, to include Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedic/Surgical, and a Burn/Wound Care Unit. Lastly, she has 12 years of experience in Quality Management as the Director of that department. Irma has been married to Luciano Gomez, also a native El Pasoan, for 24 years. She enjoys spending time with their large extended family and loves animals, especially their dog, Belle. She is very happy to be joining the TTUHSC Paul L. Foster School of Medicine family.
