Texas Tech University Health Science Center and the Department of Pediatrics have been providing Pediatric services to the El Paso and Las Cruces communities since 1975.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at University Medical Center of El Paso is the largest unit on the U.S./Mexican border and cares for 1446 infants a year.
A Neonatal Transport Service (ground) and Neonatal Hotline is available 24 hours a day to physicians in the West Texas and Southern New Mexico region.
