The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Texas Tech El Paso campus is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
The two year fellowship emphasizes on cultural awareness and multidisciplinary practice. The faculty members are devoted to provide careful supervision and to promote the emotional well being of our fellows.
Our program offers rotations in the most important areas of child psychiatry including inpatient care, outpatient clinics, consult-liaison, school consultation, service to community agencies, neuro-developmental and pediatric neurology clinics, forensic, research, and treatment of child trauma.
We carefully integrate biological, psychological and social aspects of the child's psychiatric illness to deliver a comprehensive treatment plan.
