Student Rotation
The student rotation training is divided into specialty radiology sections of Abdominal Imaging, Angiography and Interventional Radiology, Chest Radiology, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Breast Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Neuroradiology, Nuclear Radiology, and Pediatric Radiology. The student will choose a rotation in one of the specialties where they will be working closely with faculty members.
Student rotation objectives are:
1. To gain an introductory understanding of the role of diagnostic imaging in the care of patients.
2. To gain an appreciation of the risks and benefits of radiological examinations.
3. To gain an understanding of the clinical indications and sequencing of imaging studies.
Students are required to schedule at the CME Office at Student Affairs with Elizabeth Reeder. Requirements must be met accordingly. Only four fourth year students will be accepted per rotation.
Rotations will be from two weeks to a maximum of four weeks and will go from July to June of the next year.
