Transitional Year Residency Program
Rotations
Fundamental Clinical Skills: 7 months at least 1 month required in each of the following:
- Family Practice
- Internal Medicine (2 months)
- MICU or SICU
- Pediatrics
- General Surgery
- Emergency Medicine (not more than 2 months total).
Ambulatory Care: at least 1 month either Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics in addition to Emergency Medicine obtained in the ambulatory program of the sponsoring or affiliated institution.
Electives: No fewer than 2 months. Residents can select from:
- Adolescent Medicine
- Anesthesiology
- Dermatology
