Surgeons
performing laser vision correction procedures at Texas Tech’s Laser
Vision Institute are fully qualified and trained to perform LASIK
and/or PRK. They are all members of the teaching faculty of Texas
Tech University Health Science Center and are dedicated to
excellence in patient care as well as the furtherance of our
knowledge through ongoing research.
We utilize the
Alcon LadarVision 4000, the only FDA approved laser using
NASA technology that allows us to track your eye up to 4,000
movements per second.
No Referral Fees, No Conflicts of Interest
The Laser Vision
Institute is financially independent of all practitioners who use
the facility. No fees are paid to outside consultants that may
lead to biased or incomplete presentation of information.
Enhancements
The Laser Vision
Institute will provide the laser card, supplies and equipment for
enhancements of procedures done in this facility without additional
cost to you within the first year of your original treatment if
requested by your original treating surgeon.
Affordability
While laser
vision correction procedures involve the very latest medical
technology and surgical techniques, the Laser Vision Institute has
sought to make these procedures affordable and yet provide the
highest quality available. The following options are available:

Preferred
rate credit card applications are provided with local banks

Special
preferred rate financing with national firms

In-house
financing of professional fee portion may be available (varies
by doctor – inquire with yours)
Further, if you
participate in a Medical Savings Account (MSA) you may be eligible
to use these pre-tax dollars to pay for your laser surgery.
