Our academic paper systems utilize either the academic signature of the TTUHSC or one of its component schools, departments, programs, divisions, offices, centers or institutes. Paper systems are available in both standard and monarch sizes. The system includes officially approved formats for letterhead, envelopes, mailing labels and business cards. It follows a standard template to ensure a professional and unified presentation of our institution. No design alterations may be made to these official paper system templates.
Variations in the nature and length of contact information are to be anticipated and can be accommodated to the extent that they fall within the spatial and stylistic parameters of the official design. Exceptional content requirements for business cards can be moved to the back of the card. Contact the TTUHSC Printing Center at (806) 743-2016 to discuss your unique requirements.
The following examples provide an overview of our academic paper systems with representative solutions for the TTUHSC, schools, departments, programs, divisions, offices, centers and institutes.

Optional Use of the Double T on Paper System Elements
Back to TopIn recognition of existing awareness of the Double T as the most visible and recognizable symbol of Texas Tech, the Double T may be included as a secondary symbol on the bottom right-hand corner of letterhead, notepads and note cards, providing that it does not exceed seventy-five percent of the height of the Coat of Arms. It may also be used on the back of business cards on a white background as shown here. Black backgrounds will no longer be used. This optional use can leverage the Double T's recognition and visibility while the new Academic Signature is being introduced to current and historic audiences.
Adding Other University or Third-Party Marks
Back to TopNo other TTUHSC or third-party marks may be combined with the Official Signature or added to the paper system elements. Sponsorship or affiliate programs requiring university use of partner marks will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact your campus Office of Communications and Marketing or your school's marketing director for assistance in determining the appropriate solution for your unit.
