Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine operates on three campuses - Amarillo, Lubbock and Permian Basin - with numerous clinical departmental units, countless clinical services and educational programs. In more than 35 years of educational training, the School of Medicine has graduated more than 2,500 physicians. On each of the four campuses, a majority of the graduates who stay in West Texas choose to practice within a 75-mile radius of their campus city; fulfilling our goal to train high quality physicians for West Texas.

Scholarships »
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center's most valuable asset is our students. Scholarship support positively impacts the learning process by allowing students to focus on their studies and professional development. Often receiving a scholarship makes the difference in whether a student will attend Texas Tech University Health Science Center.

Research »
Today, medicine stands poised on the threshold of great advances based on new scientific discoveries. At no time in human history has the potential been greater for translating biological knowledge and technological capability into powerful tools for preventing and treating disease.

Faculty Development »
Endowed chairs and professorships provide a source of continued support for the work of innovative researchers, educators and clinicians. Funds generated from these endowments support faculty member's salaries, research and professional activities. Additionally, a research - rich academic environment facilitates up-to-date educational experiences for our students. Areas where support is needed include:
