Scholarship Needs
The rising cost of education and the shrinking availability of funding sources has become a challenge for students. Although some financial aid is available, the School of Nursing student incurs an average debt of $72,000 in student loans by the time they graduate. These programs are quite demanding, giving students little time for outside work opportunities.
Providing additional scholarship assistance helps the School of Nursing attract and retain the best and brightest students. Without scholarship awards many students are unable to attend a university due to financial restraints. Your scholarship contributions can make a difference! Once their education is complete, our records indicate that approximately 90 percent of TTUHSC School of Nursing graduates remain in Texas to provide health care services.
