Dial-up Accounts

Students, faculty, and staff can connect to the TTUHSC network and the Internet from home using a dial-up connection via a telephone modem. To set up a dial-up account, please contact the IT Help Desk on your campus.

Dial-up access is contingent on having updated anti-virus software installed and running on your computer. Information Technology reserves the right to disable your dial-up account, based on a recommendation from the IT Security Team, if network activity from your computer is disrupting computing services on the TTUHSC network. Please ensure that your personal computer is free from viruses before signing up for a dial-up account.

McAfee VirusScan software is available for free to TTUHSC students. Please visit https://www.ttuhsc.edu/it/security/mcafee for more information.
