How to check the McAfee VirusScan version, virus definitions and scan engine level

  1. Browse to the VirusScan Console application and click to select it.
    • Start - Programs or All Programs
      • Network Associates or McAfee VirusScan
        • VirusScan Console

  2. Then from the VirusScan Console window select Help and About from the dropdown menu.

  3. The About VirusScan Enterprise information will open in a new window with the current version displayed in the heading, and in the list of information it will show the current Virus Definitions number and date created, and the Scan engine version number.
