Schedule and Governance

Information Resource (IR) Project Requests and Outlines are reviewed on a quarterly basis by the Project Review Team (PRT); Project Requests must be submitted to the ITPMO 28 days prior to the quarterly meeting. Information regarding dates and governance groups can be found below. Please note that this is a tentative schedule.

Governance Groups

Project Review Team (PRT)

  • Membership: ITPMO representative (Chair), Infrastructure Assurance representative, and IT functional area managers
  • Scope of Responsibilities:
    • Evaluate proposed projects to determine technical feasibility
    • Determine project level by reviewing complexity and risk
    • Assist in scheduling project start dates with the Executive Management Team

Executive Management Team (EMT)

  • Membership: CIO (Chair), Executive IT Managers, IT Finance representative, ITPMO representative, and delegates from other areas based upon need
  • Scope of Responsibilities:
    • Authorize all IT projects to begin
    • Determine priority of implementation
    • Review project justification for validity
    • Evaluate relevant information from delegates, as necessary, to help determine project priority and project justification
    • Set the project start date with the assistance of the PRT
    • Periodically review project priority, funding, and resource allocation
