About the TTUHSC Libraries of the Health Sciences

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Libraries of the Health Sciences, founded in 1971, is a four-library system with branches at the TTUHSC campuses in Amarillo, El Paso, Lubbock and Odessa. Collectively, the TTUHSC Libraries of the Health Sciences form one of the Resource Libraries of the National Library of Medicine/South Central Region.

The TTUHSC Libraries of the Health Sciences supports the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, Pharmacy, as well as the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. The Libraries of the Health Sciences exist to meet the curricular, research and patient care information needs of the students, faculty and staff of TTUHSC, as well as the information needs of the larger biomedical and health care community of the 108 county West Texas service area of TTUHSC and the citizenry of Texas.

The TTUHSC Libraries of the Health Sciences consist of the following four libraries (click on the library name for hours, addresses and more library information):
