Community Outreach: GiRL Power

What is it?

LWBIWH is pleased to present GiRL Power 2011 (Growing Relationships in Life).

Last year's event featured Emcee Lacey Brown of Amarillo, TX, American Idol Contestant.

The goal of this non-profit event is to engage mothers (or other important woman in their life) and their pre-teen daughters (9-12 year olds) in dialogue about self-esteem, exercise, nutrition, internet safety, bullying, and how to communicate with each other.
