With resources from our partners at University Medical Center, TTUHSC researchers have the potential for national prominence and excellence in research and scholarship in women's health and gender medicine.

Lubbock Research Initiatives...

  • Endowed Chairs

The Institute and the Anita Thigpen Perry School of Nursing are proud to host The Florence Thelma Hall Endowed Chair for Nursing Excellence in Women’s Health. Longtime Texas Tech supporter Marie Hall established the chair in memory of her mother.

  • Seed Grant and Research Scholars Programs

The goal of the Seed Grant program is to identify and fund research project that have the highest likelihood of leading to strong extramural grant applications.  The Research Scholars program is an opportunity to identify and support clinical faculty who are developing longitudinal (2-year) projects in women's health or gender differences.  For more information about the 2011 Seed Grant and Research Scholars programs, please click here.
