Laura W. Bush Institute at Permian Basin
Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health Permian Basin, established in 2007, is located in the Texas Tech Physicians Building in Midland. The TTUHSC Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health were founding partners of the LWBIWH at Permian Basin.
The Research efforts are rapidly expanding in women’s health including multiple grants that have been funded since 2007. Our Community partner hospital:

LWBIWH Permian Basin has moved to the new Jenna Welch Women’s Center in Midland. The Center is named for Jenna Welch, mother of Laura W. Bush, and is dedicated to women throughout West Texas with prevention and early detection of women’s health symptoms and diseases.
LWBIWH is housed in the Jenna Welch Women’s Center, 301 North N Street, Midland, Texas. Office hours are 8:00 – 5:00 Monday – Friday, and the phone number is 432-620-5850.
