The F. Marie Hall Institute for Rural and Community Health at the Texas Tech University
Health Sciences Center developed a website providing a lot of information that West
Texans can use to prepare for a Pandemic Flu event. The statuses of pandemic flu throughout
the world and in the United States, general information, history, tools such as checklists,
information sheets, guides and links to many more resources are available at the click
of your mouse to help you prepare for and respond to a pandemic.

Surveys and Survey Teams May Come to Your Town Soon
The F. Marie Hall Institute for Rural and Community Health is conducting surveys to
find out what kind of preparations for a Pandemic Flu have been made in communities
throughout West Texas. The survey is short and simple and the results are completely
confidential. The data will help identify what West Texans may need for Pandemic Flu
